Dining Recommendations

I can't speak for everyone, nor do I know what everyone likes. But here are a few places I have enjoyed across Orlando and the theme parks.

Cheesecake Factory

Mall at Millenia

The Cheesecake Factory is located at Mall at Millenia, and another location at the Vineland Outlets. This place is easily one of the best restaurants in Orlando/the worlds. The portions are gigantic, pro tip: take your cheesecake for the road. Menu available here

Pirates Dinner Adventure

International Drive Area

So this is certainly one for the kids, first timers, or those who like their dinner with a show. This is not the only Dinner show option, however it is one of the best and in a central location for those staying on International Drive. Three course meal, unlimited soft drinks, upgrade available to unlimited beer. Tickets can be found here.

Olive Garden

Several Locations

Ross favourite place to eat in Orlando, this ones for the pasta lovers & carb-a-holics. Unlimited bread sticks, wine tasters, free side salads & more. You can also join the waiting list online, which can be handy for those who in large parties. See menu here.

Bubba Gumps

So, I have to admit. We have never had Bubba Gumps in Orlando. It has always been on mine, Ross and my families to do list - but alas we never managed. Ross and I, did however get to visit the London one. It was great. The coconut shrimp and hush puppies got a 10/10 for us. OH! & the cocktails. Good option for those heading home from Universal/Islands & looking for dinner, or those looking for dinner & drinks in CityWalk. See menu here.

The Boathouse

Disney Springs

The Boathouse is located in what was once know as "Downtown Disney", now "Disney Springs". Usual Disney prices, do not make this a cheap option. However, if you are willing to splash out, this is certainly a top option. With steaks and seafood, this may be more aimed at adults. The deserts are world famous. See menu here.

Millers Ale House

Several Locations

Millers Ale House have several locations across Orlando. The one in International Drive is ideal for those staying local and looking for a drink. The menu is your standard bar menu but there are plenty of options for fussy eaters and kids. The establishment also offers great happy hour options, and pitchers of beer.

Yard House

International Drive

Yard House is, in our opinion, one of the best bar dining establishments. We are so passionate about the bar that we dragged the family here to try, and they will also support the cause. Their menu is outstanding, with the most ridiculous amount of options. Pizza, Burgers, Sandwiches, Mexican, Asian, American. They have it all. Nachos 10/10, Tacos 10/10, Mac & Cheese 10/10, Cheese curds 10/10. Plus all the beer options your heart could desire. Check out happy hour deals too. See website here.

Richter's Burger Co.

Universal Studios - In Park

Honorary mention to some in park options, as its tough to know where to eat. Universal Studios is home to Richter's Burgers. I honestly don't think I've ever ate anywhere else but here. It's a burger joint with veggie options, and its a classic for me. Order your burger, collect and take a seat. Simple. Great for long park days when looking to refuel. Simple menu here.

Mythos Restaurant

Islands of Adventure - In Park

Honorary mention to some in park options, as its tough to know where to eat. If you're looking for an award winning sit down meal... yes you heard me, award winning. Then Mythos is what you're looking for. It's not cheap, but it certainly has some of the best park food you'll find. Plus, it has air con and its great for hiding out to cool down in. Menu found here.

Kohola Reef

Volcano Bay - In Park

Honorary mention to some in park options, as its tough to know where to eat. Some of the best in park food I have tasted. So fresh, so light. The chicken sandwiches are to die for. Menu here.

Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe

Magic Kingdom - In Park

Honorary mention to some in park options, as its tough to know where to eat. Eating in Disney can be expensive, any full service restaurants can be $70pp. For cheap quick bites, Pecos Bill's has the best options. Mexican flavours with the usual burger and hot dog options. Around $11 a meal. Prices can be found here.

ABC Commissary

Hollywood Studios - In Park

Honorary mention to some in park options, as its tough to know where to eat. Whilst it is not the most extensive menu, I do find ABC to be the best for size and popularity. One of the largest options in HS, you can almost always find a seat here. Menu here.

Satu'li Canteen

Animal Kingdom- In Park

Honorary mention to some in park options, as its tough to know where to eat. Animal Kingdom has the best availability of alcohol in my opinion, round every corner there's a beer waiting just for you... or an over priced cocktails. But for food, why not try the Avatar canteen serving Bao Buns and bowls. Something a little different to the usual Burgers and Fries. Limited menu can be found here.

Epcot - In Park

Epcot is where I want my ashes spread. It is home to the drink around the world, one of the WedWeek events which can be found on the Events page. During this we eat and drink around the world, all of which served from carts. Walk from Mexico to China, Italy to France, and USA to UK. During this you can experience food and drinks from around the world. Wine, beer, cocktails, prosecco. Plus tostadas, crepes, turkey legs, springs rolls and more. See here for Drinking/Eating around the world.
